This scholarship is intended for students pursuing specialized training in a trade or technical field or who are enrolling in a transfer pathway program. 

Scholarship award:  $1,000  (more than one may be given)                                                                     

Eligibility criteria
Graduating high school seniors from schools in Janesville, Milton, or Edgerton who are planning to attend an accredited technical college to pursue an Associate Degree or Technical Diploma.

Process 
By March 15, complete the application electronically:  AAUW Career and Technical (CTE)  Scholarship Application
Save the completed application as a PDF.
1. Right-click the mouse – select “Print”.
2. Select “Save as a PDF” as the destination.
3. Save (you should be able to save it to your desktop).  
Email a PDF copy of the application to: lpeterson@janesville.k12.wi.us

The AAUW Scholarship Committee selects the recipients.
They will be notified by April 30.
Recipients should plan to attend the AAUW meeting at 6 pm on May 26.  Those unable to attend will submit a short video to the AAUW Scholarship Chair.

Scholarship Payment
Send the first term transcript & the subsequent term course schedule to AAUW. Upon receipt of these documents, payment will be made to the post-secondary institution’s bursar’s office.
